My goal is to provide a high standard of quality software development
and to improve your company's profitability. We take what I
call an "Entreprenaural Approach" to software development. The
ultimate goal for any business is to turn a profit. As a group of
business minded developers we are constantly aware your business
needs. We will not only find ways to save you money in the development
process but also suggest ways to increase your cash flow.
I strive to maintain a long term, trusting relationship with my
customers. I want to earn your trust. Each time you have an
occasion to use our services, I will demonstrate that integrity plays a role in
everything I do. My number one priority is to get the job done and make
your site profitable! -Lance Keene, President, Keene Systems, Inc.

Seeing the Big Picture
A typical problem with software developers is that they tend to see only their
narrowly focused portion of a project. Being in business for myself,
I try to view each project as it fits into the whole enterprise. Gone are
the days of geeky programmers who are in a world of their own. Developers of
today must have the communication skills and business knowledge to interface
with the entire organization. The need to understand the ultimate goal of
the business is to turn a profit.

Don't Reinvent
the Wheel
When designing web sites, it is wise to first see what your successful
competition is doing then ask "What makes this a great website? and Why would a
potential client want to buy from us instead?" When starting any new
project it is our goal to get a prototype "proof of concept" program up and
running as soon as possible. This approach flushes out major design flaws early
on. Also, we don't spend weeks or monhs writing code that could be
purchased from a third party tool vendor. Why start from scratch?

Knowledge Trasnfer
Companies pay top dollar to bring in outside knowledge. Frequently, when a
software contractor leaves a project, so does the knowledge. We see my
role as different. To help you maximize your investment, we make
ourselves available to train other programmers on topics that we are
familiar with. We see our entire development staff as our client not just
the company.

|
Staying focused
Good project management is the key to your success. Programmers are notorious
for inventing all kinds of new, unauthorized work if they don't have clearly
defined goals, milestones and deadlines. We can help you get those
programmers focused, organized and working as a team.
